Uru Tapu Wāhine – Auckland
January 18th – 19th | Full Moon Gathering | Secret Location (full details will be sent upon registration)
We will gather within the tapu of Te Moana Nui a Kiwa and held by the breath of Raumati (Summer). As the Mauri of Papatuanuku quickens, redirecting her energy to the outer body, she dances through the land with warmth in he r soul. Mahuika will hold the circle, and Tuanuku will share her stories as she holds space for deep and tangible transformation. Rongoa Maori (Maori medicine), ritual and storytelling will guide as we explore the sacred senses of te ira wahine.
Wairuatanga sits at the heart of my offerings and will nourish our every breath as we step deep into the elemental senses of Papatuanuku from dawn to dusk. The Kaitiaki of our direct environment will guide you through internal activation, as the codes of creation ready themselves for integration. My intention is to hold space for you to receive the teachings you need to assist your self-healing journey. Subtle energetic healing is found in the simple wisdom of culture and ceremony, storytelling and prayer. Stripping back the distorted frequencies of illusion that has conditioned the being to think, feel and see through a colonial lens.
You will be guided on a medicine walk through the Ngahere in which you will learn to identify specific native plant species endemic to Aotearoa. The stories in which they pertain and the whakapapa of their existence back to Te Waonui o Tane, the threats that challenge contemporary Maori worldviews and most importantly gain a greater understanding of your direct environment and ecology.
How does one even begin to understand the depth of healing needed to overcome Ancestral trauma? Many are struggling to first identify trauma, and second, interpret the language in which it expresses itself! In many cases, it’s built up over time and collected itself within certain parts of one’s body. For wahine, usually, the whare tangata (womb). This wananga will create a safe and open space to move through and activate one’s consciousness to understand the body more while connecting to the environment around us. Papatuanuku. We will journey deep into the internal landscape of the whare tangata with allies as we honor the stories, held by the elements, Rakau Rangatira and lead by the purakau of wahine Atua.
This wananga is an intimate gathering, and open to twelve wahine only, registration is needed to confirm your space. Accommodation and homemade, plant-based rongoa kai (medicinal meals) are inclusive.
There are six payment plan tickets available to assist any mama’s that may need time to cover the exchange. Please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this option, these will go fast.
